About this Presentation

There is no need to read the book to participate. The topic is how to learn and how to teach others using fictional case studies. How much information should be included in a fictional case? The first riddle will be used as an example. This is a Q&A session with Eli Schragenheim, author of the book Management Dilemmas. Have your questions ready ahead of time! NEW INFORMATION: Eli will be using a dedicated case written specifically for this webinar to present to you instead of the current riddle that has been published on the TOCICO website. Please be prepared for this new case, but still have your questions ready!

What Will You Learn

To help you get the most value from this session, we’ve highlighted a few key points. These takeaways capture the main ideas and practical insights from the presentation, making it easier for you to review, reflect, and apply what you’ve learned.

Plane
Fictional cases can be powerful tools for learning and understanding complex concepts, especially when they are realistic and relatable.
The effectiveness of a case study depends on the balance of relevant and irrelevant data. Too much data can be overwhelming, while too little can make the case seem simplistic or trivial.
Fictional cases provide an opportunity to challenge existing paradigms and introduce new ideas. They can be used to train people to identify relevant information and to focus on the key problem at hand.
