About this Presentation
What is the system constraints of an enterprise dependent on nature? Is it demand, a capacity-constrained resource or nature? This presentation offers some answers.
What Will You Learn
To help you get the most value from this session, we’ve highlighted a few key points. These takeaways capture the main ideas and practical insights from the presentation, making it easier for you to review, reflect, and apply what you’ve learned.
Nature-dependent enterprises such as mining and farming are currently managed with local optima, focusing on meeting local targets, maximizing yields and minimizing costs.
Regenerative farming, which focuses on improving soil health and biodiversity, is a more sustainable alternative to conventional farming.
Transitioning from conventional to regenerative farming can be challenging, but can be facilitated through a generic strategy and tactic tree, holistic throughput thinking, building supply chains to consumers directly, and capturing demand through better market buffer management.
