About this Presentation
Since 2014, Haver & Boecker's project coordination team has been responsible for creating, monitoring, and coordinating schedules for machinery and modifications to ensure timely delivery. Initially, the coordination team handled only the in-house manufacturing schedules, while sales managed the schedules for outsourced components. In pursuit of better project scheduling and increased transparency, a strategic project to overhaul customer project scheduling was initiated. This led to the selection of Milliarum CCPM software due to its advanced functionalities and seamless SAP integration, facilitating a unified approach to project management. The implementation process began with analyzing existing processes, defining new structures, and establishing clear responsibilities. Following this, a pilot project commenced to implement the SAP CCPM Solution from Milliarum. Milliarum was chosen for its ability to integrate directly with SAP, making it ideal for companies using SAP ERP systems. By mid-2024, intensive testing of the solution had begun at Haver & Boecker's machinery factory, aiming for full implementation by late 2024. This new approach to project scheduling started at the quotation phase and considered the entire project portfolio, resources, and capacities, enabling precise and transparent scheduling. This presentation will delve into the strategic project’s conception, the pilot phase, and the comprehensive rollout, showcasing how these changes led to more efficient project execution, reduced lead times, and enhanced organizational transparency. The implementation of comprehensive scheduling and improved project coordination significantly optimized the workflow and ensured a streamlined project management process.
