About this Presentation
GlaxoSmithKline embarked on a major Siebel CRM system implementation. The Polish deployment was among the largest, supporting 500 medical representatives responsible for 100,000 targeted doctor visits per month. While the transactional system was completed on schedule, the management reporting module faced repeated UAT rejections, despite six months of development.
With just six weeks remaining before launch, an alternative reporting solution was developed to bridge the gap until the original module could be corrected. Several unconventional yet effective strategies were implemented, later aligning closely with Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) principles.
This session explores how extreme time constraints naturally lead to critical chain-based solutions, demonstrating the power of common-sense decision-making under pressure. Attendees will gain insights into the key strategies that ensured project success and how similar approaches can be applied in high-stakes environments.
