About this Presentation
It will be shown that TOC POOGI (Process of On-Going Process) with the TOCfE Thinking Tools (Cloud, Branch, and Ambitious Target Tree) can be effectively used to build up the framework of the logical argumentation. The process of writing a logical argumentative essay based on these thinking tools was taught to high school students and college students in S. Korea, with fabulous results. The experiences of using this process will also be shared in this presentation.
What Will You Learn
To help you get the most value from this session, we’ve highlighted a few key points. These takeaways capture the main ideas and practical insights from the presentation, making it easier for you to review, reflect, and apply what you’ve learned.
The Theory of Constraints (TOC) can be effectively applied in teaching students how to write a logical argumentative essay.
The TOC thinking process involves three key questions: what to change, what to change to, and how to cause the change, which can be used to build the framework of argumentative writing.
The TOC for education (TOCFE) uses three thinking tools: Cloud, Branch, and Ambitious Target Tree, which can be used to understand and resolve conflicts in argumentation.
