About this Presentation
In 2012, the idea of integrating CCPM's Project Staggering into an emerging framework to scale Agile to portfolios was conceived. However, the framework's originator rejected the proposal, leading to independent experimentation with impressive results. The subsequent year, while researching, Wolfram Müller's video presentation at the TOCICO conference in Baden Baden, Germany, introduced the integration of CCPM buffer management with Agile/Scrum across project and portfolio levels. Collaborative experiments ensued between Wolfram Müller and Mike Hannan, yielding mostly successful outcomes and culminating in the co-authorship of a book. By 2014, Hilbert Robinson joined the authorship team, resulting in the publication of CIO's Guide to Breakthrough Project Portfolio Performance: Applying the Best of Critical Chain, Agile, and Lean. Over the past decade, the journey has been marked by intriguing experiments, particularly focusing on self-managed project/product portfolios. The presentation eagerly anticipates sharing some of these experiences.
