About this Presentation

With COVID-19 worldwide crises, business leaders are scrambling to deal with a variety of challenges. The goal of this presentation is to gain insights into related changes in practices at present and post Corona times. 5E model, using TOC tools will be used for analyzes of companies that perish vs. those who flourish. 5E model, developed by the author, comprised five main components of growth and well-being of professional and personal stories. (1) Entrepreneurial growth of organization; (2) Evaluation of the process and outcomes; (3) Ecosystem: interaction between environment and human capital. (4) Exploration of information. Learning to promote innovation; and (5) Emotional regulation, which addresses the well being of human capital. Lead yourself and others with prudence and care. All 5 elements are necessary to promote an organizational proactive and adaptive culture. At the presentation the 5E model will be be used to analyze in-depth, case-study of Netflix, vs. Blockbuster and configured intervention program, for school leaders. What to Change? Treat organizations in silos structure. What to Change to? Adapting holistic approach to organizations management. How to cause the Change? Shoshi Reiter

Dr. Shoshi Reiter is the owner of the Reiter Center for Personal and Organizational Leadership LeadTOC. She believes that the human capital is one of the most important resources for all countries. She is focusing on leading people development and achieving results. Coaching managers for wellbeing, communication skills and effectiveness. She is an international Theory of constraints (TOC) expert. TOC is a managerial theory that provides thinking and communication tools forever flourishing. Her work is focused on the "soft sides" of organizations. She is conducting seminars and lectures over the globe, presenting in many conferences. Dr. Reiter developed and is giving courses on information management and interpersonal communication including conflict resolution. Dr. Reiter is a lecturer at the Open University of Israel for professional development. At the Technion, she gave courses in organizational behavior and human resources, dealing with dilemmas, organizational culture and knowledge management. Her work at Israeli Ministry of Education is aimed at raising achievements and leading innovation. Her research and development interest are in flow-centered processes, using TOC tool for agility, holistic change and continuous growth. Her work has been recognized by international innovation in education and research and research organizations such as the ICA and AREA. She developed the 5E model for Entrepreneurship and Well-being that creates holistic body of knowledge for running organizations and personal growth. Dr. Reiter earned her PhD from the Haifa University in the field of SRL -self-management. Nexus of performance and results: knowledge management, emotional regulation and human capital development.

Ms Alka Wadhwa

Alka Wadhwa is an experienced consultant and process improvement expert with over 24 years of expertise in the Theory of Constraints (TOC), Lean Six Sigma, and organizational performance optimization. She has successfully led projects in healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing, driving significant improvements such as a 67% boost in hospital operations and a 140% increase in outpatient visits. Previously, Alka Wadhwa spent 17+ years at GE Global Research Center, where she led initiatives to enhance various GE businesses through advanced technologies, process redesign, and system optimization. Founder of Better Solutions Consulting, LLC, she specializes in using TOC, Six Sigma, and data analytics to streamline operations and build high-performance teams. Her work has earned her multiple accolades, including the Empire State Award of Excellence in healthcare.

Dr Gary Wadhwa

Dr. Gary Wadhwa is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience in the field. He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and has served as an Attending at prestigious institutions like St. Peters Hospitals, Ellis Hospital, and Beth Israel Hospital in NY. With a career spanning over two decades, he was the former CEO and President of a group specialty practice in NY from 1994 to 2015. Dr. Wadhwa holds an MBA from UT at Knoxville, TN, and has undergone additional training in System Dynamics at MIT, Health System Management at Harvard Business School, and Entrepreneurship and healthcare innovations at Columbia Business School. Committed to expanding access to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery care, he is currently engaged in a meaningful project to provide healthcare services to underserved populations in inner city and rural areas through non-profit Community Health Centers.
